Ataxia telangiectasia mutated kinase (ATM) and ataxia telangiectasia and Rad3-related kinase (ATR) are serine/threonine kinase that regulate the G1, S, and G2 cell cycle checkpoints, and are involved in DNA repair.
ATM and ATR phosphorylate several common substrates, as well as specific substrates, to regulate checkpoint signaling. Their substrates include p53, Chk1 and Chk2.
TGR has developed several SureFire® assay kits to interrogate ATM/ATR signaling:
- phospho-Chk1
- phospho-Chk2
- phospho-4E-BP1 (p-Thr37/46, and p-Thr70)
- phospho-p53 (p-Ser15 and Ser392)
- total p53
